We hope everyone read the Wizard's article on the upcoming changes to the Core Set. As you can see the players we talked to had mixed reactions to the news. Also, we think this comic is important in establishing who our target audience is: Mainly you, the person reading this. If you didn't get the last frame of the comic then watch this: George Bush does not care about black people.

In this comic we introduce two other recurring characters. Percy is Dave's good friend, but they have very different views on the game, how it's played, and life itself. Percy is mainly a Vorthos when it comes to this kind of thing, while Dave is probably more of a Melvin, if we had to label him.

And then there's LaskyTron. He's actually an inside joke with those that go to our comic shop but other people can probably relate to that strange person that always seems to show up.
It's probably safe to say he is our favorite character, and we hope he will become yours as well. Expect to see more of him in the future.

Magic 2010 should be interesting my only real beef with it is the hideous set symbol. It's so ugly.

Also I did the image in this format so people could see that we weren't limiting ourselves with the card layout. The height of the comic and the textbox dynamically adjusts to fit!

Wizards did say they that all important reprints would have white-borders! I (and the internet archives) remember! Now, they did not say Wrath would not be in Magic 2010, but they DID say many cards that have been in all other core sets will not be in this one. I guess I can hope they just meant Grizzly Bears and Scathe Zombies.
Oh Percy, I feel your pain, but as long as they keep their promise never to reprint Thrull Champion or Drop of Honey I guess it will be ok ;)
