I just made some cards of myself and my playing buddies based on how they play. check them out.

Image
this is me. I'm the big timmy who likes fast decks and overruning my opponents.

Image
My brother Calvin, who drives me nuts with his control decks.

Image
Dev is a buddy of mine who loves combo decks and game-warping enchantments.

Image
Diggy is the spike-iest player I know.

Image
Griss plays almost exclusively with black in our play groups.

Image
And Zach often plays sneaky aggro/combo decks that ramp up and end games when you least expect them to.

do you like?

Hey there!
This month I was busy with my own MtG set (249 cards :P) which took me a lot of time. In fact that i have to post something, I came up with some ideas... This is something like a story about me and my addiction to Magic...

Long time ago, (wow! A year or so!) I've been playing something like Mono-Red Control - I know that it's a bit weird, but it was a deck full of Hostilities, Worts as finishers, many red removal spells (like Spitting Earth) and few powerful direct damage spells that combed well with the Hostility and the Wort. Those days I was like this:
Image
After that, when I found spells like Terminate and Blightning, I made my BR Blightning control deck which had a simple gameplan - play like a burn, kill the badguys, drop Lightning Reaver, win. Since there was no Jund around (It was just before Zendikar), it was a very powerful creature for me - since it was almost unblockable, i could just attack for 4, 5, 6, etc ^^. Those days I would make myself as something like that:
Image
But then... One day I watched Gab. Nassif playing 5cc on the PTKyoto. I just fell in love with this deck. It was so amazing to play deck like that. I made my own version which I played before the rotation...
Image
When Zendikar came to our doors, it was time to change deck. BR Blightning still was a nice idea, but MonoR was a way more effective deck those days. Jund wasn't my type, I knew that I had to find a control. And the control has come. Grixis, the successor of the 5cc - a perfect deck for me.
Image
Playing control still was interesting, but i found out that I lost something in the game - It wasn't as much funny as before. I didn't really know what it was about, but... Something was missing...
Winning is funny, but when you play with your friends and win 6th time in a row... Well you can finish the story. I found out that the missing part was casual playing. I told my friends to give up playing Standard and go back in time to the cool, old days. They agreed. Those days, I started inventing various funny combo decks...
Image
To be honest, I keep inventing hilarious combos, but it's a long story ;)
One of my favourites combo decks is Polymorph that I made just after the release of Worldwake. Most of people couldn't believe me that this deck actually works, but Progenitus smashing their faces sometimes was enough to reassure them.
Image
It was a deck I kept playing even after the release of RoE, until ppl on the net said: Hey, let's check this deck! I had my own, UR version, but ppl said: UG is better! I kept saying that UR is better, and they kept arguing. But the standard changed. It became full of Jaces, Vengevines, Sarkhans, and the other $$$ stuff. In fact that I've been looking for some dredge cards around, I decided to finish it and to play Extended. But at 1. July the Ext changed, and all the cards I bought went out of T1.75. Anyway, I find legacy as a very cool format, and it's my actual target. That's why now i'm like:

In fact that for the last month I've been working on "Kincit - The Forgotten Plane" set, this one also represents me very well:

This one is kinda special, because it's a preview card of the second part of the whole block in some way. It's not a real card that would be included in the set, but it tells something about the cards that will be included ^^.

Thank you for the patience
Marandil ^^

Ok, so, we have 31 cards.......

I can't judge that many. What I WILL be doing is picking the card I like the best from each person and judging that card. Don't worry, your other cards will still be in the news, but I will only comment on the one.

(well, I'll give all of them a roll over, since I do that for almost every image on the site, so that's like a comment)
